Five steps from posting to award
- 1Create an account. Choose owner, general contractor, or subcontractor and supplier. Our team reviews every account before it can post or bid.
- 2The owner posts a project. Upload plans, specs and contract documents, and set a floor price. From there, our team takes over: we prepare the quantity takeoff, optimize the construction schedule, prepare the shop drawings and publish the complete bid package on the site for the bidding round you selected.
- 3Bidding opens. General contractors bid on the whole project. Subcontractors and suppliers bid on single trade packages such as rebar, post-tensioning and concrete.
- 4Bids step down by 1%. Each new bid is 1% below the current low bid, down to the owner's floor price. A late bid extends the deadline, so the clock cannot be gamed.
- 5The lowest qualified bid wins. When bidding closes, the award is confirmed, provided the winning bid is within the project budget.
Who it's for
Owners
One posting, many bids.
No more chasing quotes. See every bid live, for the whole project and each trade package.
General contractors
Bid whole projects.
Review plans, specs and the current low bid before you commit.
Subcontractors and suppliers
Bid only your trade.
Bid the rebar, post-tensioning, concrete or haul-off package on any open project.
- We do the takeoff and guarantee the quantities.
- We handle coordination and scheduling.
- Shop drawings come pre-approved by the engineer of record and a licensed design professional, so fabrication starts right after award and the job stays on schedule.
